SuperView - Windows 10 1809 update

SuperView and Microsoft Windows 10
October 2018 Update (1809)

Microsoft released another update to Windows 10 in the Autumn of 2018 known by the number 1809

As with previous updates to Windows 10 this is a free update from Microsoft and is essentially an incremental update compared to the previous versions of Windows 10.

Early releases had various issues to the extent that Microsoft stopped the release and has only very slowly restarted the release.

Although the issues seem to have been sorted the release of the next version 1903 is approaching and there seems little point in searching out this 1809 version

There is a matching Windows 10S, as before this does not support "desktop apps" such as SuperView

SuperView25

We are not aware of any problems running the latest version of SuperView25 Rplus (ver 7.3.x) on this version of Windows 10.

The issue Microsoft had did not cause any SuperView specific issues (although the general Microsoft issues might have had an impact)

If you are currently running a version of Windows 10 prior to 1803 please note that some older versions of SuperView 25 do not run on Windows 1803 or 1809 because of internal changes made my Microsoft. We produced a version of SuperView 25 R-plus (7.3.x.) that does run well on these version of Windows 10. So please contact us preferably before upgrading Windows 10 (1803)

This version of SuperView also works well on Windows 7 and Windows 8.1

SuperView21 and prior versions

We will not be testing these versions and strongly recommend users upgrade to SuperView 25

There are many benefits as well as the compatibility.
